Fargo specializes in card identity systems – their products are highly reliable and extremely customer friendly.  They currently produce three kinds of card identity printers: High Definition Printers, Direct-To-Card printers, and CardJet printers. 

 

 High definition printers allow for high-quality personalization of electronic id cards.  Images are more secure, the cards are more functional, and the end result is protected from abrasion.

 

This printer encodes and laminates high quality, high security ID cards.  It offers optional magnetic coding, laminate modules, and e-card encoding.  With this printer, the images are printed on the underside of clear HDP film and are smoothed to remove the irregularities that are common with this kind og printing.  The HDP 600 also has a number of features that support high definition printing: automatic card cleaning system, LCD control panel, reject card hopper, and color codes printer supplies that allow for quick loading. 

 

This is also a high definition printer – it offer outstanding print quality and flexibility.  Print photo quality images using 300 dpi and 16.7 million colors. The end result is a card that is tamperproof and extremely durable.  Print cards with embedded chips with ease compared to other more complicated card printers.  Some common uses for the HDP 800 printer include: employee record storage, cashless vending attendance tracking, and access control.

 

This direct-to-card printer produces photo-quality cards in just a matter of seconds,.  It is an extremely easy to use printer that allows you to automatically switch between 2 100-card stacks.  It has several add-on features, such as lamination and encoding modules, which really increase card functionality.  The printer itself can be locked for security reasons. Other features include; an LCD control panel, upgradeable firmware, and replacement cleaning tapes.

 

This is an excellent direct-to-card printer for everyday applications.  It’s affordable and easy to use, maintain, and set up.  It can print up to 100 cards per day with excellent quality. 

 

A Hewlett Packard printer engine coupled with CardJet technology delivers 600 inkjet dpi, photos, graphics, text, and bar codes.  It creates durable, personalized ID cards in just 26 seconds.  This printer is easy to use and maintenance free.  The CardJet ink bonds and dries instantly to the cads without smearing.  Cards all resist abrasion and fading, and are extremely durable.
