Star Printers

Star was established in 1950 to manufacture wristwatches and camera parts.  By 1979 it had already started producing small printers and by 1981 it was producing computer printers.  It’s well known to businesses, but never quite made it as a consumer printing monster.

 

Reach speeds of 180 mm/s with this thermal printer from Star.  It offers 2 color printing support, drop-in and print paper loading, full and partial cutter, receipt printer, and Star Mode.  It uses direct line thermal printing to produce a maximum of 53 columns with 203 dpi resolution,  It can accommodate max paper width of 80mm.
