The Canon BJC 85 Inkjet Printer is a good, if not great printer. As a portable printer, this machine reaches a maximum resolution of 720 x 360 DPI and with its scanning cartridge it can scan at a resolution of 360 DPI. This printer comes with one ink cartridge for its color printing and an optional battery. The Canon BJC 85 Inkjet Printer can connect through USB, parallel port and wireless, its optional battery produces 200 pages per charge, and its cartridge cleaning cycle can be started with just a push of a button. It prints black and white text at a speed of 5 pages per minute, and color documents at a speed of 2 pages per minute. Other positives are that this printer can handle many type of media sizes and types, and its printing settings can be customized. Some not so great features are that its scanning ability isn’t that great, and its consumables can be expensive.
