The Canon imageClass D880 Laser Printer is almost identical to the printer that precedes this, the Canon imageClass D860 Multifunction Laser Printer. Printing 16 pages per minute at a maximum resolution of 2400 x 600 DPI, the Canon imageClass D880 Laser Printer also copies at a speed of 18 pages per minute. This printer comes with a 500 sheet paper cassette, a 100 sheet multipurpose tray, and a 30 sheet automatic document feeder for multi-page originals. The Canon imageClass D880 Laser Printer’s multipurpose tray handles many media types and sizes, such as bond, plain, and color paper, as well as transparencies, labels, and envelopes. All of this is handled by Canon’s Single Cartridge System. The one difference between this printer and the Canon imageClass D860 Multifunction Laser Printer is that this printer can fax. With 12 speed dials, 100 coded dials, and 250 page memory backup, this printer faxes at a speed of 33.6 kbps at SuperG3 speed.
