COST: $100 Make sure you know your needs before purchasing this printer. The Epson Stylus Photo 700 Printer is primarily a photo printer; its black and white text should be adequate, but certainly not at the speed and quality of a standard laser printer. Also, should you require a great deal of text printing, you’ll be wasting a lot of valuable and expensive ink that could be going towards your photo printing instead. And again, this printer is slow, and is meant for people willing to sacrifice speed for exceptional quality. That being said, the Epson Stylus Photo 700 Printer comes with 6 color cartridges, prints at a maximum resolution of 1440 x 720 DPI, and can handle many different media types. This printer is PC and MAC compatible, comes with additional software, and can be connected through USB or through parallel connectivity. Its ink cartridges are small and its black ink cartridge will be the most expensive of them to replace, but unfortunately that’s the standard these days.
