This printer provides high quality prints, but at a slow to modest speed. It comes with 6 colors, but in two ink cartridges, which will mean frequent replacement, as this model printer consumes large amounts of ink. The Epson Stylus Photo 825 Inkjet Printer can handle many different media types, is compatible with both a PC or a MAC, and comes with additional software that allow you to tinker and adjust your photo printing. Other positives include digital memory card slots that allow you to print without a computer, customizable features for your printing settings and Epson’s Print Image Matching technology. Keep in mind that it would be a mistake to buy generic ink cartridges for this printer, as its print quality will suffer unless you buy Epson’s own brand of ink cartridges.
