COST: $250 A multi-function printer that performs each of its functions at an equally high level. The Epson Stylus Photo RX500 All-In-One Inkjet Printer prints, scans and copies color photos equally well. This printer comes with additional software that will provide you with loads of customizable features, as well individual ink cartridges for its colors. Note that this machine is primarily designed for handling color photos; it really wouldn’t make sense to use this printer as your sole device for black and white text printing (unless you only print text occasionally). That being said, the Epson Stylus Photo RX500 All-In-One Inkjet Printer can also scan negatives, slides, as well as transparencies. What’s the catch? As usual with Epson printers, the ink cartridges, though they may be individual for each color, are small and expensive to replace. Unfortunately, this comes with the territory, but at least you have Epson’s incredible quality to make it up.
