COST: $750 The HP Color LaserJet 2500L Printer is a good deal for those looking to spend under $1,000 for a work-heavy printer. Its Mhz processor will be able to print complex jobs at a fast speed, and its 600 DPI should be adequate for your basic black-and-white text. This model can also print images and text in color, though we don’t recommend using it for color transparencies. The HP Color LaserJet 2500L Printer also doesn’t print in large format, nor will it print on both sides of the page. On the other hand, this printer does come with 64 MB of Ram memory, which can be upgraded all the way to 256 MB. Its compact size is appealing, though its 125 media sheet capacity will mean lots of stops to the paper tray. This printer is certainly not the best in its class, but you should get value for your money.
