COST: $450 We’re going to recommend a “not buy” on this printer. The HP OfficeJet 7130 Thermal Inkjet Printer has been reported with far too many problems to ignore, enough to make you wonder about the quality of its mass assemblage, or even worse, some sort of design flaw that is bound to afflict every model. While you may be lucky by taking a chance on this printer, be aware of the various problems that may come up. These include paper jams, poor color transparencies, and worst of all, consistent system and printing errors. As if these are not bad by themselves, the HP OfficeJet 7130 Thermal Inkjet Printer will drain your ink cartridges very quickly, and replacing them so often will be expensive. If you’re lucky enough to find a working model of this printer, you will enjoy its multi-function capabilities, including features such as replaceable print-heads, and perhaps even high quality printing. But for everyone else, you may be thinking you wasted a great deal of cash.
