COST: $300 As a multi-function printer, the HP PSC 2210 Thermal Inkjet Printer comes loaded with features. Multi-function already tells you that this printer can scan, copy, and fax in addition to print, and this model does all of them well. Its printing mode accepts flash cards and several types of memory cards, allowing you to print photos directly without the use of a computer. Its print resolution is 1200 x 1200 DPI for black and white text, and 1200 x 4800 for color printing. The HP PSC 2210 Thermal Inkjet Printer scans at a resolution of 1200 x 4800, with 48 bit color processing. This printer is perhaps at its most impressive in its copy mode, which has customizable features such enlarging or shrinking your original text. But not everything is great on this printer. When printing photos, you won’t be able to make adjustments to its print-outs unless you’re hooked up to a computer. The HP PSC 2210 Thermal Inkjet Printer is also not appropriate for faxes of more than a few pages at a time, and it prints slowly at its highest quality print setting. Also important to note, this printer’s ink cartridges can be expensive, so keep this mind when considering this model’s overall price.
